Brisbane paint takes a beating. Between the relentless UV, summer storms and the odd trolley ding at the shops, even a well-loved car can end up looking dull, swirled and tired under direct sun. Paint correction is how we bring that depth and gloss back.
Using a machine polisher and quality cutting compounds, we carefully remove a very fine layer of clear coat to level out swirl marks, oxidation and light scratches. Because we're fully mobile, we do it all in your own driveway or work car park. Paint correction is included in our Showroom Detail, or you can book it on its own by request.
Why choose this detail
Paint correction is ideal if your car's finish looks flat, swirled or has lost its shine, which is common on darker colours and older clear coats after years in the Queensland sun. It's the single biggest step in making a car look genuinely new again.
We'll always be honest about what's achievable. A single-stage cut and polish suits lightly swirled paint and restores a lot of gloss in one pass. Deeper defects need multi-stage correction, which is several cutting and refining steps that take longer and cost more but go much further. Some very deep scratches can only be improved, not fully removed, and we'll tell you that up front.
Cloudy headlight lenses respond to a similar sand-and-polish process.
